Welsh Best All Rounder Competition Conditions |

The Competition shall be called the Welsh Best All Rounder Competition and shall be for men and women. |

The competition shall be promoted by the Welsh Cycling Association and shall be controlled by the Committee of that body. |

The Committee shall have full control of the competition within the conditions laid down and shall settle any disputes that may arise and shall decide the result of the competition. |

All results of events, completed certificates and other necessary documents shall be sent to the Competitions Secretary within 28 days of the event involved. |

The Committee shall not alter any of the conditions governing the competition, but shall be empowered to recommend such alterations as they may consider desirable for any ensuing year; such recommendations to appear on the Agenda paper of a General Meeting of the Association. |

The competition shall be open to all amateur riders of those clubs which have headquarters in Wales and those parts of Herefordshire covered by the South Wales District of the Road Times Council, and are directly affiliated to the RTTC and the WCA. The competition will be based upon each rider’s fastest single 50, 100 and 12 Hours for men, and 25, 50 and 100 Miles for women. Such performances to be calculated to three decimal places in terms of miles per hour and the average taken of the resultant speeds. |

Events eligible for the competition must be open to all entrants who are members of clubs directly affiliated to the RTTC. Any advertised limit of acceptance must not be less than 120. Events restricted as to gear or as to category or to members of any particular independent body, or any other specialised event, shall not be eligible for the competition. |

Only those events

These events will be approved and published by the Association and circulated to all affiliated clubs - note the necessary RTTC Regulations are to be observed where publication of events is concerned. |

RTTC Regulations shall apply to all eligible events. |

10 |
The organising secretary of the promoting club and the timekeeper(s) shall be required to sign a standard certificate in respect of all events that qualify. |

The distance between starts and finishes and the intervals of timing and distance determination shall be in accordance with the RTTC specification. |

12 |
Competition for team placing shall be included and for the purpose of competition a team shall comprise of three members riding in the name of one club. Any rider entering or allowing himself/herself to be entered in an event in the Welsh Best All Rounder Competition in the name of one club shall not be eligible to count for the team competition for any other club in the same year. |

The final date upon which events shall be eligible for the competition shall be the last Sunday in September. |

14 |
Only distances recorded in the Welsh 12 Hour Championship shall be eligible for the Welsh Best All Rounder Competition. |
