The start will now be half an hour earlier on advice from the police.

Course change because of the roadworks on the hill - as described by Ian above. 
The severe winter has got the better of the course. 
Revised RS22 Details
Start in gate entrance on A40 approximately 300metres west of Junction with A479 (Talgarth/Builth Rd) approx 1.5 miles west of Crickhowell. Proceed in a West North Westerly direction along A40 through Bwlch, Llansantffraed and Scethrog to Brecon Roundabout (10.6 miles) where take 4th exit to rejoin A40 Eastbound to retrace route through Scethrog, Llansantffraed and Bwlch to finish opposite start on long straight approx 300m short of junction with A479 at Nant-Y-Ffin Public House - 21.2miles (approx)

rode up the hill  on sunday and its possible to ride within the cones if the lights were against you

There are currently roadworks on the main climb so an alternative course or course configuration is being sought as a back up.

 At this stage its a contingency plan.
